From InternationalBusinessTimes: Franchising is set to overtake manufacturing in terms of employment numbers within 10 years, according to Brian Keen founder and director of How To Franchise Simply.
Recent treasury modeling has suggested that the number of jobs in employment in manufacturing is expected to shrink by 17 per cent this decade, wiping out 170,000 jobs.

has been awarded the title of World-Class Franchise. The certification is handed out annually by the Franchise Research Institute and FranSurvey.
"The World-Class certification is based on an independent survey of Interface franchisees,” David Banfield, the financial franchise’s president explained. “The survey asked them to rate Interface regarding overall growth potential, quality, support, communications, and other areas. Initial training was rated at 100 percent; ongoing training and support garnered a 93 percent rating; franchisor relations at 92 percent; and support from management was rated at 95 percent.”
"We see our World-Class status as not only an endorsement for the franchise but also and equally as important as recognition of all of our franchisees. They are a major component of what makes Interface a World-Class franchise opportunity. The survey process, and the results, helps us (as an organization) to identify where we need improvement and validates the supportive efforts we already have in place,” Banfield added.
The Interface Financial Group specializes in working with small businesses that are unable to qualify for conventional bank funding, because they are too small, not in business long enough, or in an industry not supported by bankers. The owns franchises all over the world and it is still constantly expanding.

InXpress, the young management business opportunity is to open its third outlet in Australia this June. Inxpress is part of a courier and freight sales consultancy network that covers the whole world.
The new franchise unit will open in Adelaide, where the trained franchisees will provide provides small to medium businesses with shipping and freight services. The two existing InXpress outlets are both based in Brisbane.
Australian master franchisee Garry Fryer commented: "We provide extra mile customer service and discounts on all types of shipping.
