Hair and Beauty Franchise receives community award

Hairhouse Warehouse, one of the Australia’s fastest growing hair and beauty business opportunities, has won one of three major awards for its active partnership with Eating Disorders Foundation of Victoria (EDV).

By supporting EDV, the beauty franchise helps promoting a positive body image throughout the country. Hairhouse Warehouse has announced that it will continue this partnership by sponsoring the foundation to improve the Eating Disorders Helpline, marketing and graphic design as well as supporting community events.

Arthur Mitroulas, the franchise’s general manager, commented: “For some people, the idea of eating disorders can be very confrontational. We sometimes have unrealistic expectations of what people look like and we are an organisation that challenges these expectations. Being part of the fashion and beauty industry we understand our role in spreading the message about positive body image to our customers."
